Upgrade Insulation

The most common method of upgrading your existing insulation is to ‘top-up’ your loft insulation. As much as 25% of the heat loss in your home escapes through the roof space. To help avoid this Celotex have designed zero-carbon solutions especially for this application.

Our conveniently sized loft board is easy to install and its strength characteristics will let you use it for some light storage options too. And due to its premium thermal performance you will be able to maximise on space too!

How Much Do I Need?

Almost every house will benefit from having more insulation. Depending on when your house was built will determine how much you probably need to bring it up to today’s modern standards.

It’s likely that most properties built since 1985 will have at least 100mm of glass wool insulation between joists. To make you compliant to current guidelines you should select 90mm of Celotex to go over the joists.

If you wish to design in some added benefits then why not select 100m insulation or if all you want to do is ‘top-up’ a little then 50mm is a perfect solution. There is no regulatory binding requirement for top-up insulation so the choice is yours.
